You must present your medical marijuana patient card every time you purchase from a medical marijuana dispensary. Licensed businesses reserve the right to verify the validity of your license every time you purchase a product or service.
Medical marijuana patients can purchase cannabis, but it cannot be delivered.
Current state law requires OMMA to process patient license applications within 14 business days of the date the applicant submits it. OMMA will send applicants an email after staff reviews the application. For approved applications, it takes one or two more business days to print the patient license identification card.
Most dispensaries are cash only and do not accept checks. But all Mango locations accept debit cards and there are ATMs available for those who don’t have cash.`
Patients who qualify for a medical marijuana card in another state may apply for a temporary medical marijuana card in Oklahoma. Residents living in another state with a valid license in their home state may apply for a temporary license to “buy, use, and grow” medical marijuana from an Oklahoma dispensary.
Not currently. Governor Kevin Stitt declared a statewide special election, scheduled for Tuesday, March 7, 2023, for residents to vote on whether to legalize recreational marijuana in Oklahoma.
